Journal 2

Today was a Sunday and as a follow up to a great Saturday it did live upto what I had imagined it would be like. I woke up early in excitement since today I was supposed to receive my new Tennis Racket- a head gravity MP 2025. As I have progressed in my game of tennis, my needs have risen to demand a tool more apt for competitive play. Those unfamiliar with Tennis, think of this racket as a sedan car that you enjoy driving. Smooth handling, speeds and feel. And oh, I did receive the racket.

In the after noon I was watching this show on BBC Earth called Where The Wild Men Are With Ben Fogle and I had a blast watching this family building and living in their own estate in Morocco by the Atlantic ocean. They built their whole house in over 17 years by themselves. And they are still building it. The house had old architecture and mud walls which I imagine are a staple in Morocco for its dry heat weather. The house was immensely cozy and had open air concept rooms and commons areas which did not need an air conditioner even in the summers. Can you imagine my surprise as someone who spent his entire life in big cosmopolitan cities? You can watch the entire episode here.

Post this in the afternoon my friend called me up for a game of tennis and I went rushing to the courts which is near his house. The court (due to its location) reenergized me. Ah yes. This is what I have been trying to put into words. This feeling I get from certain activities and situations time and again. There are things in life that leave you less energized when you do them (like sitting in a cubicle in a office) and when you are visiting a museum or playing tennis in a vicinity which has a park and lots of people gathered for socializing. I feel like I have found out the answer to an age old mathematical equation. Anyway, this was my Sunday. How was yours?
